ERZULI

There are many Erzuli manifestations. I've tried to embrace the middle pole spirit of Erzuli.
She is possession by love.
A protector of single mothers, working women, independent women, female soldiers, ... Erzuli is the woman justice between worlds. You may see her as the dark skinned pretty lady with facial scars holding a child in her arms... she reflects the Black Madonna. She can also represent the rage of the wronged woman.
Erzuli's standard is a bowl of blood. The spilt blood, the blood of menses ensuring new life in woman kind. Florida Water is her favorite scent and calling on her usually requires this aromatic space.
Colors: red and blue. You can offer her cigarettes, run, pineapples, corn makings, red pepper jelly, cornbread with gunpowder sprinkled on it, honey with cayenne pepper mixed into it. Her standard is a heart with swords pieced through it.
Essential oil blend with cacao, rose, cuban tobacco, coconut, blond tobacco flower.
